This school-based contract opportunity begins August 2026 and runs through June 2027, offering a consistent, full-time schedule working directly within a supportive educational environment.

You’ll work collaboratively with educators and families to help students excel academically and socially, drawing on your expertise in both therapy and compliance. The ideal candidate is passionate about student success, an effective communicator, and experienced in school-based SLP practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation
  • Effective communicator able to work with a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable with Zoom interviews and digital documentation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language assessments and individualized therapy for students
  • Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating closely with educators and families
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report progress per state and district guidelines
  • Engage in staff meetings, consultations, and professional development as assigned
  • Utilize ECATS for case management and compliance
