Desired Qualifications:

  • Active SLP-CCC license required
  • North Carolina licensure (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to design and implement effective, student-centered therapy
  • Collaborative mindset for working with staff, families, and other specialists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to assigned caseload
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents/guardians to support student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide guidance and resources for classroom teachers
