Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid CCC-SLP certification required
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Prior experience in a school setting, preferably with middle or high school populations
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Adaptability to work in both middle and high school environments as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students requiring speech and language support
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to integrate therapy goals into students’ academic plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and professional insight
- Serve as a resource to school staff and families regarding speech-language disorders and intervention strategies
