  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
  • Background in pediatric speech therapy with knowledge of IEPs, assessments, and intervention strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans consistent with IEP goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals for effective student support
  • Documenting progress, maintaining detailed records, and participating in IEP meetings as required
  • Providing both individual and group therapy in accordance with school protocols
  • Consulting regarding strategies and accommodations to promote student success in the classroom
