- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
- Background in pediatric speech therapy with knowledge of IEPs, assessments, and intervention strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans consistent with IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals for effective student support
- Documenting progress, maintaining detailed records, and participating in IEP meetings as required
- Providing both individual and group therapy in accordance with school protocols
- Consulting regarding strategies and accommodations to promote student success in the classroom
