School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Chattanooga, Tennessee

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active SLP license in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; accepting strong Clinical Fellows
• Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Passion for supporting diverse students and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and eligibility documentation
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other educational staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
• Offer guidance and support for communication strategies within the classroom
