Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license (state-specific)
  • Valid DOE certificate as SLP
  • Ability to complete timely credentialing (fingerprinting required)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language services to students (mostly elementary age; final caseloads determined prior to start)
  • Serve multiple schools within the district as assigned
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
  • Document services and progress in compliance with district and state standards
