A contract position is available in Chehalis, WA for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve school-aged populations. This role focuses on evaluating and treating speech and language disorders within a school setting, offering an opportunity to apply specialized skills in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting specific speech and language goals
- Provide therapy sessions tailored to student needs, tracking progress meticulously
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Engage families in the therapeutic process to support student development and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
