Working with elementary-aged students—across three preschool classrooms and two specialized Autism/IDD classrooms—you'll be serving a school population approaching 600 students. You'll collaborate closely with two other SLPs, expanding your skill set through exposure to a broad range of caseloads, leadership styles, and teaching methods, setting the stage for robust professional growth and a standout resume.

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (or actively completing Clinical Fellowship Year)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • SLPA candidates with relevant school or healthcare background are also welcome
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students, including specialized and inclusive classroom settings
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and track student progress
  • Collaborate with fellow SLPs, classroom teachers, and support staff for optimal student outcomes
  • Engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process
