Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear SLP licensure for South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
• Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the special education team
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and services provided
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and parent conferences as needed
• Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and families to enhance students’ communication success in the classroom
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment
