What you'll bring to the position:

  • Active Virginia SLP license required
  • Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, especially within school settings (K-12)
  • Experience in assessment, intervention planning, documentation, and collaboration with school teams
  • Ability to provide both direct and indirect services to students of varying needs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary duties will include:

  • Managing a full-time K-12 caseload, providing therapy, assessment, and consultation services
  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that support student progress
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other support staff to promote student success
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in IEP meetings as needed
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and keeping current with best practices in speech-language pathology
