Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students, identifying strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation related to assessment, progress, and services provided
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and offer expert recommendations for effective interventions
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff and families to maximize student outcomes and promote carryover of skills
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
