Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Virginia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each learner’s needs
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create a supportive environment for student progress
  • Track progress through data collection and maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and district standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development opportunities
