Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state or eligibility to obtain it
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs considered
- Previous experience in educational settings is an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with school-aged children and supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support individually or in group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development
