Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid SLP licensure in Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
- Track progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Provide direct and indirect supports to help students succeed in academic and social environments
