Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Valid SLP license for Virginia (or the ability to obtain one prior to start).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply.
• Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting preferred.
• Solid understanding of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and goal development.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support for students with various communication disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress and generalization of skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service logs in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required.
