Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid SLP licensure in Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
  • Track progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Provide direct and indirect supports to help students succeed in academic and social environments
