Step into an impactful role supporting students' communication growth in a vibrant educational community! We're seeking two contract Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering both a part-time school year position and a full-time, eight-week maternity leave opportunity.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with eligibility to work in schools
- Expertise in providing school-based SLP services and managing IEP caseloads
- Experience developing and implementing individualized lesson plans for varied student needs
- Strong documentation skills to track progress and update team members
- Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to team meetings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services in line with student IEP goals
- Create and execute weekly lesson plans tailored to each caseload
- Document student progress on IEP goals three times per year
- Develop and implement IEPs, serve as case manager, and conduct meetings with the IEP team
- Participate in professional learning communities (PLCs), arrival/dismissal routines, and district-wide professional development as required
- Support ongoing program and district initiatives, with flexibility for related assignments
- Part-time Position: 8:45 am - 10:45 am daily, AM/PM half-day program, handling up to 45 students; dates from 8/17/26 through 5/28/27, dependent on school calendar and snow days
- Full-time Maternity Leave: Eight-week coverage beginning November 10, 2026
