This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule at a welcoming educational setting with hours from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027 (dates may adjust slightly for snow days).
You’ll work with a manageable caseload of up to 45 students participating in a half-day program (AM/PM sessions). The primary focus is delivering speech-language services to students with IEPs, guiding them toward their individualized communication goals, and participating as an integral member of the educational team.
What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy for students with IEPs
- Creating and implementing weekly lesson plans tailored to individual needs
- Emphasizing instruction that aligns with established IEP goals
- Documenting and reporting student progress toward goals three times per year
- Coordinating and conducting IEP meetings as a case manager
- Collaborating with colleagues by attending PLC meetings, participating in arrival and dismissal, and engaging in professional development
