Step into an engaging role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract opportunity focuses on providing speech and language services within a vibrant school environment from the end of October to the beginning of February, working primarily with students in grades K-5.

You’ll collaborate closely with another full-time SLP onsite and have the benefit of clear caseload structure. Your expertise will be key in helping 6 students through case management, with a service load that includes 19 IEPs and 19 intervention students—for a total of 38 students under your care.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary settings
  • Comfortable managing IEPs, completing assessments, and implementing interventions
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs and intervention plans
  • Complete case management duties for assigned students, including documentation and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with another SLP, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement effective service strategies
  • Maintain thorough records, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate regularly with families
  • Contracted hours are 8:35-3:35, with the expectation to arrive 15 minutes before and remain 15 minutes after for preparation and wrap-up
