Step into a dynamic onsite role as a Speech-Language Pathologist and make a lasting difference in the educational journey of students ages 2 to 22. This contract opportunity is slated for the 2026-2027 school year, offering 35 hours per week within a dedicated school-based team. Your expertise will help shape individualized programs, supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities in their speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate speech-language therapy services, including augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays
  • Perform diagnostic and evaluation testing to assess students’ needs
  • Generate clear, comprehensive, and insightful reports from assessments and classroom observations
  • Develop and maintain IEP objectives, consistently monitoring progress
  • Collaborate effectively with parents and educational professionals to maximize student outcomes
  • Work confidently with assistive technology and implement best practices for speech-language development
  • Provide support and problem-solving solutions for students facing unique learning challenges

Qualifications:

  • Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and teacher’s license from the Department of Education (IDOE), or eligibility to obtain both
  • Preferably 1-2 years of direct experience as a school-based SLP
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record as a collaborative team player
  • Strong adaptability and creative problem-solving abilities
