Step into a highly rewarding contract role for the 2026–2027 school year, supporting students onsite near Chesterton, IN. As a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY), you will play a pivotal part in nurturing communication and social development for children and young adults aged 2 to 22 with a range of moderate to severe disabilities. Enjoy a consistent 35-hour work week as you help students unlock their full potential through dedicated, evidence-based practices.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan and deliver personalized speech and language therapy, incorporating assistive technology, augmentative communication, and social language interventions.
  • Address articulation, voice, oral-motor, feeding needs, and both receptive and expressive language delays.
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation testing, delivering clear, insightful assessment reports.
  • Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and school specialists to monitor progress, address challenges, and foster developmental growth.
  • Provide support and problem-solving in dynamic environments, ensuring flexibility to address students’ varied needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and teacher’s license from the Department of Education (IDOE).
  • Preferably 1–2 years of professional experience as a school-based SLP.
  • Strong communication abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Adaptable mindset and proactive problem-solving skills.
