A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the La Porte, Indiana area, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role offers 35 hours per week, with a work period from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
- Document student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 grades.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate records.
Location: La Porte, IN – serving local schools within the district.
