School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Chesterton, Indiana

This position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license for the state of Indiana (or eligibility to obtain one before start date)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting is ideal
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to organize caseload and manage time effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels, both individually and in small groups
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write comprehensive reports
• Develop and implement effective, goal-driven Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation in compliance with school and state policies
