School Speech Therapist | Chesterton, Indiana

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the La Porte, Indiana area, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role offers 35 hours per week, with a work period from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for students K-12.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
• Document student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 grades.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate records.
