Make an impact by supporting students for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year in a full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Located near Chesterton, IN, this position gives you the chance to work within a collaborative educational environment, empowering students to communicate with confidence and reach their fullest potential.
What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state license or eligibility for Indiana SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred (consideration given to strong CFY candidates)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations a plus
- Ability to create engaging, individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative spirit and passion for teamwork with educators and families
What you’ll do:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and document student outcomes
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Provide both direct and consultative services in a variety of educational contexts
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for multidisciplinary planning
