Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and conduct evidence-based therapy
- Collaborative spirit and commitment to creating a positive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in conjunction with educators and families
- Keep accurate, timely records of student progress and attendance, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel regarding student speech-language needs
- Provide training or support for classroom staff as needed to promote student progress
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
