Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and conduct evidence-based therapy
  • Collaborative spirit and commitment to creating a positive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in conjunction with educators and families
  • Keep accurate, timely records of student progress and attendance, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel regarding student speech-language needs
  • Provide training or support for classroom staff as needed to promote student progress
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
