Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis in the Cheyenne, WY area. This opportunity allows you to collaborate with educators and families to support communication and language development, helping students reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Wyoming SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including conducting assessments and developing IEP goals
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to a diverse caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions targeting speech and language needs
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
