Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives by providing essential Speech-Language Pathology services in a dynamic school-based setting for the upcoming full school year. This fulfilling, full-time contract opportunity encompasses serving two elementary and intermediate school sites, supporting diverse learners across K-8th grades. Enjoy the variety of managing engaging caseloads—one site serves grades K-3 with roughly 49 students, while another covers grades 4-8 with approximately 53 students.

What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Active Illinois SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Previous experience working with pediatrics, preferably in educational or healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and case management in schools
  • Comfort with in-person and teletherapy delivery models
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to students in grades K-8
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student outcomes
  • Utilize both in-person and teletherapy platforms to deliver comprehensive services
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required reports
  • Offer guidance to staff and families regarding communication strategies and interventions
