This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to make a direct impact across a diverse student population. Your expertise will help provide much-needed speech and language services for students ages 3 to 21, ensuring every child’s communication needs are met.
This in-person position runs from August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week during the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Illinois SLP license required
- Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Previous experience working in a school setting highly preferred
- Ability to adapt to working with students of varying ages and needs (3-21 years, depending on school assignment)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in alignment with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to create optimal learning conditions
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage with families regarding student progress and therapy goals
