Soliant is seeking school based Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists for full-time openings with a Special Education Cooperative serving students across the Chicago Heights area. These opportunities support students with diverse learning needs in collaborative educational settings.

Open Positions:

Physical Therapist (PT)
Occupational Therapist (OT)
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview:

Assignment dates: August 19, 2026 – June 1, 2027
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Caseloads may include students ages 3–21 depending on assignment/program
In-person only
School district details will be disclosed upon candidate qualification.

About the Cooperative:

The Special Education Cooperative develops and implements effective, evidence-based programs and services for students ages 3–21 with disabilities while also providing exceptional professional development opportunities for educators in a collaborative, cost-efficient environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services within assigned discipline
Support evaluations, treatment planning, and IEP development
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district/state requirements
Participate in meetings and support student progress monitoring

Qualifications:

Active Illinois license in applicable discipline (PT, OT, or SLP)
SLP candidates must also hold an active Illinois PEL
Strong communication and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred

Work Hours:

35 hours per week
Standard school day schedule

Compensation:

$48–58/hour DOE (average ~$53/hour, depending on years of experience)
