Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with K-8th grade students in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through eighth grade
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain timely documentation on student progress and intervention effectiveness
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide support and resources to staff and families regarding communication disorders
