Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Chicago, IL

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential
• Illinois state licensure or eligibility
• Experience supporting pediatric populations in school-based or healthcare settings
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress tracking, and report writing
• Comfort with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Knowledge of best practices for students with complex communication needs

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions to students aged 3-22 within a self-contained SPED program
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists
• Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and recommend appropriate services
• Participate actively in team meetings regarding student progress and intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, services, and outcomes
• Support classroom integration and provide consultative guidance for effective communication strategies
