Step into a rewarding role supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade in a dynamic school environment near Chicago, IL. This full-time contract position is available for an immediate start and will continue through the end of the school year. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll provide essential speech and language services to students presenting with a variety of needs and severity levels.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current SLP-CCC certification or SLPA license; Clinical Fellows (CF) are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
  • Comfortable serving students with diverse and mixed severity speech and language needs
  • Collaborative mindset for working alongside teachers, parents, and specialists
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services for PK-8 students with a range of communication challenges
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
  • Work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student progress
  • Monitor, assess, and document student performance and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing progress updates and recommendations for service delivery
