Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience within schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities with staff, families, and caregivers
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards in educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each child
  • Deliver direct therapy, both in-person and via teletherapy, as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate therapy records and documentation in compliance with school requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student progress
  • Offer guidance and resources to support communication development in various learning environments
