A highly motivated and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist is needed to cover a school-based maternity leave assignment. You’ll collaborate with staff, students, and families while delivering quality therapy to 4th through 8th graders.
Enjoy a full-time schedule, working onsite only, from 8:15am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday. This role is set to begin September 14, 2026 and conclude December 16, 2026. Caseloads average 45-50 students, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience within a supportive educational environment.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license/certification (CCC or CFY welcome)
- Strong pediatric and school-based experience highly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEPs and best practices for student-centered therapy
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Duties:
- Perform evaluations and deliver direct and indirect therapy to assigned students
- Develop, implement, and monitor goals and individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records for all students
