Available Assignments:
- Lake in the Hills: Work with 16 students, approximately 15 hours per week.
- Morton Grove: Support 9 students, 5-7 hours weekly.
- Oak Lawn: Serve 29 students, with a schedule ranging from about 15 to 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Previous experience serving K-12 students or in educational settings is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage small caseloads and adapt communication techniques to diverse learners
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments, develop documentation, and facilitate IEP meetings for assigned students
- Design and deliver direct therapy services based on each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize students’ educational outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date records and progress notes in line with district requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team consultations as needed
