Step into a rewarding part-time contract opportunity supporting students in grades 6–8 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role covers a maternity leave and offers the chance to work closely with middle school students, helping them develop essential communication skills during a critical phase of their education. Scheduled for 3 days a week, you'll work from August 11, 2026, through November 6, 2026, making a measurable difference in the lives of approximately 40 students on your caseload.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with middle school students is highly valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress-monitoring skills
- Effective communicator and team collaborator
- Commitment to creating positive, inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student progress and participation
- Monitor and document student outcomes and make data-driven recommendations
- Offer consultative support and strategies for student success within the classroom
