Make an impact in the lives of students across Pre-K through 12th grade by providing essential Speech-Language Pathology services for a contract opportunity beginning as soon as possible through May 27, 2027. This rewarding role is situated near Chicago, supporting learners in a dynamic educational environment. You’ll work a consistent schedule of 8:15am to 3:30pm, totaling 35 hours weekly, offering the chance to develop meaningful relationships and foster communication growth in diverse age groups.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current SLP license for the state of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to provide speech and language assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver direct therapy to students
  • Willingness to work with a wide variety of student needs, ages, and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all students in accordance with school and district guidelines
  • Contribute to staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
  • Provide consultation to teachers and parents on communication strategies
