Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Chicago, IL

This position offers the unique opportunity to utilize your Speech-Language Pathology expertise while collaborating with an onsite SLP and supporting the developmental needs of young learners. With a part-time schedule of two days per week, you’ll have the flexibility you need while delivering vital services to a diverse early childhood caseload.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license in Illinois, or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy SLP services preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to early childhood students on a 2-days-per-week basis
• Conduct screenings and assessments to determine individual student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and collaborate with classroom teachers and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and state standards
• Consult and collaborate with an experienced onsite SLP for guidance and support
