Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings across grades K-12
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with diverse speech, language, and communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Develop and deliver evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support educational and social success
- Document progress and maintain records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student IEPs
- Offer consultative support to school staff regarding best practices in communication and learning
