A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to students across multiple grade levels in a Chicago-area school. This contract role involves working with diverse student populations in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, delivering individualized therapy focused on enhancing communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute recommendations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade bands.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
