Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Valid SLP license for the state of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Prior experience delivering therapy within school settings, spanning a range of grade levels (K–12)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs of students through standardized and informal assessments
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy, adapting to each student’s learning style and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and progress updates
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure student progress
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Offer consultative support and resources to classroom teachers
