Key Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based experience working with a range of student ages (grades K-12)
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Effective communication with students, families, and educational staff
- Collaborative mindset and passion for student-centered support
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students in grades K-12
- Assess student needs using formal and informal evaluation tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals based on assessment findings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education teams to support student achievement
- Maintain clear documentation of services, progress, and compliance with state and federal requirements
- Conduct parent meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
