School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Chicago, IL | 2026–2027 School Year

A school district in the Chicago, IL area is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse K–12 student population in a collaborative educational setting.

Position Details:

  • Full-time (approximately 37.5–40 hours per week)
  • Onsite school-based position
  • K–12 caseload (primarily elementary focus with possible secondary support)
  • Full 2026–2027 school year assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services across assigned school sites
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Write and implement IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings
  • Track student progress and maintain documentation

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with SLP endorsement required or in progress
  • CFs (Clinical Fellows) welcome to apply
  • School-based experience preferred

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
