This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students through a teletherapy and direct service model. Based in Chicopee, MA, this contract role covers a school year duration with an immediate start and runs through the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students, including preschool through secondary levels.
- Deliver services across three school sites, addressing a diverse range of speech and language needs.
- Utilize teletherapy approaches alongside in-person sessions to support student communication development.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in professional meetings and continuous training to stay current on best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school setting, preferably K-12.
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and delivering remote therapeutic interventions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload and adapt services for different age groups.
Schedule & Work Details:
- Work hours from 7:36 a.m. to 1:51 p.m.
- Start date ASAP with contract extending until the end of the school year.
- Caseload includes preschool through special education and middle/high school students.
- Services delivered across three separate school sites.
- Candidate availability for interviews is on Thursday and Friday after 11 a.m.
