A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting located in Chicopee, MA. This position offers a dynamic environment working across three sites with a diverse caseload spanning preschool through high school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students ranging from preschool to high school, supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students, with a combination of direct and consultative services.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students’ speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress.
  • Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to ensure continuity of services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy, including teletherapy.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying educational needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Position Details:

  • Contract role with an immediate start through the end of the school year.
  • Scheduled hours are from 7:36 a.m. to 1:51 p.m.
  • Working across three school sites provides varied and enriching professional experiences.
  • Interview availability is Thursday and Friday after 11 a.m.
