A dynamic contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on school-based services, located in Chicopee, MA. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for high school students.
- Deliver tailored speech therapy services to meet individual student needs.
- Oversee and collaborate with a Speech Assistant to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CCC-SLP certification or eligibility, with experience in school-based speech-language pathology.
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus, though primary service delivery will be in person.
- Previous experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations in educational settings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of roughly 75 students efficiently.
Schedule & Location:
- Full daily hours from 7:41 AM to 2:15 PM, aligning with the high school schedule.
- This role is based in Chicopee, MA, providing a community-centered work environment.
