A school in Springfield, MA is seeking a dedicated, bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC required) for a full-time, onsite contract position for the 2026/2027 academic year. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators and families to provide high-quality speech and language services to a vibrant student body.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts SLP license (active status required)
  • Bilingual proficiency to support students’ varied linguistic backgrounds
  • Completion of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance
  • Ability to pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and comprehensive CORI/background checks

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to K-12 students, both individually and in small groups
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and write IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
  • Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and progress notes in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings as needed
  • Communicate effectively with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
  • Adhere to school policies for attendance and notify appropriate parties if unable to attend
