Help empower high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a renowned specialized educational program. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, serving high school students in a nurturing, skills-based setting. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping students gain communication abilities for increased independence, while providing supervision and guidance to a dedicated SLPA.

What we’re looking for:

  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience in school-based SLP roles, especially with high school students
  • Proven skills in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
  • Expertise in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient approach with students navigating ASD or other learning differences

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language services within a specialized high school program
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and track progress toward communication goals
  • Train and supervise the assigned SLPA to ensure fidelity of service delivery
  • Collaborate closely with special educators, occupational therapists, and support staff
  • Document sessions, maintain compliance with state and district regulations, and communicate progress to families and team members

You’ll work approximately 32.5 hours per week on a consistent schedule aligned with the student calendar, allowing for meaningful relationships and direct impact on students’ daily experiences.
