School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Chicopee, Massachusetts

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid SLP license for the state of Massachusetts
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
• Compassionate and patient, with a student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
• Develop individualized therapy plans and track progress toward established goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school-based professionals to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of relevant accommodations and goals
• Provide direct and consultative services as outlined in each student’s plan
• Document sessions and prepare progress reports in accordance with school and district requirements
