Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Chicopee, MA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active SLP license in Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required for Clinical Fellows (CFs)
• Experience working in a school environment is a plus, but all SLPs with a passion for pediatrics are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student progress
• Keep thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with district protocols
• Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse cultural and linguistic needs of students
