This contract-based opportunity, serving preschool through 6th grade students, offers the chance to collaborate with educators and families to enhance communication skills and support academic success. You’ll be working with a manageable caseload of 36-40 students and a consistent weekly schedule of 32 hours, ensuring you have time to both focus on your students and maintain work-life balance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active or eligible SLP license, Arizona state requirements preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong background or interest in school-based speech-language pathology
- Experience working with preschool and elementary school-aged children is highly valued
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to a diverse student population, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Administer screenings, evaluations, and formal assessments as required
- Develop, update, and execute individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Maintain detailed progress notes and comply with all documentation standards
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
