Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students with speech and language needs in a dynamic school-based setting near Prescott Valley, AZ. This is a full-time position, offering 40 hours per week from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Multiple openings are available, making it a wonderful opportunity for both seasoned clinicians and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active or pending SLP license
- Experience delivering services within educational settings (K-12)
- CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY under clinical supervision
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to providing evidence-based speech therapy to diverse student populations
What you can expect in this role:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students across grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
- Enjoy guaranteed weekly hours and receive pay for both direct and indirect services
- Focus solely on therapy with no additional non-therapy duties required outside your contracted hours (such as bus or lunch duty)
- Travel therapists may be eligible for stipends to help offset living costs
