Apply NowA full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Chowchilla, CA, supporting school-based services with an established school district. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an SLP in California schools
- At least 1 year of experience with the Special Education Information System (SEIS)
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and working alongside facilitators is preferred
- Capable of managing high caseloads and processing numerous referrals efficiently
- Candidates at the SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CF) level will be considered; SLP Assistant (SLPA) candidates are not eligible
- Must be available for onsite assignments only
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and related therapy services to students, including a caseload of approximately 60–65 students, 25–30 of whom receive speech-only services
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with SLPA support staff to ensure effective service delivery and supervision
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize the SEIS system for reporting and compliance
Location & Hours:
- Chlorine school setting located in Chowchilla, CA
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite-only position
