In this full-time, full school year position (37.5 hours per week), you'll be providing onsite services at the elementary level, working alongside a supportive team and SLPA facilitators.
Key qualifications and background:
- California SLP license and ASHA CCCs required (accepting strong Clinical Fellows)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in California school settings
- At least 1 year of proficiency using SEIS documentation platform
- Experience supervising SLPAs with facilitators strongly preferred
- Skilled in managing higher caseloads and processing referrals
- Capable of supervising therapy support personnel as needed
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing assessments, direct therapy, and intervention planning for a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, including 25-30 students requiring speech-only services
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Accurately maintaining required documentation, IEPs, and progress reports
- Supervising and mentoring SLPAs, as appropriate
- Supporting and guiding less experienced SLP colleagues or Clinical Fellows
- Engaging in referral management and ongoing caseload organization
