Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Provide engaging therapy sessions targeting communication goals
- Track, document, and analyze student progress with keen attention to detail
- Collaborate deeply with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to unify support strategies
- Educate and involve families, empowering them to participate actively in the therapy journey
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility for such)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with children and adolescents in school or similar settings is advantageous
- Skilled communicator who works well independently and thrives in a team environment
- Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive, and solution-focused atmosphere
