Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
- Valid SLP license for the state of California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Experience working in a school-based setting is an asset
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students according to IEPs, both individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments and interpret results to determine students' needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of student progress and services
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop goals for students
- Employ evidence-based practices to help students achieve their communication goals
