Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital speech-language pathology services to elementary students for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role supports a diverse caseload of 46 students across grades TK-5, including Speech IEP and MS SDC students. Key Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility (CCC or CFY considered)
- Experience providing services in school settings highly valued
- Strong assessment, report writing, and IEP participation skills
- Bilingual skills are a plus and will help serve the diverse student population
- Clinical Fellows and SLPAs are welcome for consideration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations, documenting findings professionally and promptly
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with staff and families
- Provide timely progress reports and maintain accurate student records
- Support students with varying levels of need, tailoring therapy to individual strengths
Role Details:
- Contract position beginning August 5, 2024 and ending June 12, 2025
- Full-time, 40 hours per week; school day runs from 7:30am to 2:15pm
- Work on-site at an engaging local elementary school setting
- Caseload of 46 students covering a range of communication needs
