Speech and Language Pathologist - Chula Vista, CA

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed or clinical fellowship speech-language pathologist to provide services at an elementary school located in Chula Vista, CA. This position offers a full-time schedule with a consistent daily routine supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 5th grade, including those with speech IEPs and moderate/severe SDC placements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language pathology services to a caseload of approximately 46 students
• Conduct assessments and develop detailed reports to inform student progress
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Collaborate with school staff to support speech and communication goals

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible candidates accepted
• Experience with elementary-aged students and diverse caseloads preferred
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
• Willingness to work under a contract from August 5, 2024, through June 12, 2025

Schedule Details:

• 40 hours per week
• Daily hours: 7:30 AM to 2:15 PM
• On-site in a school setting; teletherapy and hybrid models are not available for this role

• Candidates should be open to potential collaboration with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) if necessary
• The position emphasizes direct in-person support to students during the school day
