School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Chula Vista, California

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload and adapt to diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to monitor student progress
• Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Deliver therapy in both individual and group settings
• Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
