School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Chula Vista, California

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to develop individualized plans and adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessments, screenings, and direct therapy to students across varying grade levels
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor progress toward goals
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support generalization of skills
• Offer strategies for classroom accommodations and modifications to enhance student participation
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all regulatory guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development opportunities
