Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech and language support in a vibrant school setting near Cibolo, TX. Two leave openings are available, offering the chance to make a real impact on students’ communication skills and educational development. Full-time positions are available for 37.5 hours per week, with contract durations of 13 weeks (8/10/26–11/2/26) and 8 weeks (8/12/26–10/2/26).

Bring your passion and expertise to help students reach their full potential by supporting those who need speech-language intervention. Open to Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC and CFY) as well as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants with school-based experience.

Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as SLP (CCC, CFY) or SLPA
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative mindset for working closely with teachers, families, and other service providers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments within a school-based framework
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting approaches to meet varied needs
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and progress notes
  • Serve as a resource for school staff and families, offering insights and support
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and interdisciplinary collaboration
